BROOKE CLAIBORNE – ATTORNEY
Immigration Attorney Brooke Claiborne knew from an early age that she wanted to be an attorney and always had a love for traveling, languages, and learning about other cultures. Growing up she always sought out opportunities to travel and learn new languages. During college, she lived and studied abroad in Madrid, Spain where she was able to gain her second language skill and is fluent in Spanish. While in law school she volunteered in naturalization clinics which inspired her to practice immigration law after graduation. Immigration law combined her passion for the law and love of languages and culture.
Attorney Claiborne has been practicing immigration law since 2013 and has been an attorney with Pardo Law Firm since 2019. Throughout her career she has represented many individuals in family-based immigration cases where she successfully reunited and kept many families together. She strives to provide her clients with honest and clear guidance so they can make informed decisions for themselves and their family members.
Over the years, Attorney Claiborne, has also focused on business immigration cases. She has vast experience representing U.S. companies trying to bring foreign workers to the U.S., individuals and foreign companies wanting to open companies in the U.S., and individuals intending to invest in the U.S. She has successfully obtained visas for multi-million-dollar investors, as well as visas for individuals wishing to open small businesses providing services to the community. Attorney Claiborne focuses on the needs of the company or individual to evaluate and provide the best options for non-immigrant or immigrant visa options.
In her spare time, Attorney Claiborne enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
ROSA ISELA OROZCO – SENIOR PARALEGAL
Rosa Isela Orozco is a Senior Paralegal at Pardo Law Firm. She was born In Guadalajara Mexico and immigrated to the United States in 1997. Rosa grew up in Royal City, WA where aside from her full-time job she enjoyed serving as a volunteer for non-English Speaking students at an after-school program. She moved to the Carolinas in July 2015 and has found to love the cultural diversity and the food. In her spare time, Rosa enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cooking, photography, gardening and music
James Gilman – SENIOR PARALEGAL
James Gilman is a Bilingual Senior Paralegal at Pardo Law Firm. He grew up in Nashville, TN and graduated from the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville with a double major in Child & Family Studies and Spanish because
of his love and passion for people and culture. He studied in both Ecuador and
Spain on student visas and worked in Costa Rica on a religious visa. He has
taken the opportunity to travel to 27 countries across 5 continents. James has
worked as an advocate for immigrants in educational, medical, and community
settings because he desires that we would all thrive mentally, spiritually,
physically, and emotionally. James is actively involved in serving locally and
globally through Warehouse 242 and enjoys hiking with his dog.
ERIKA CALLEJAS – PARALEGAL
Erika Callejas is a Paralegal at Pardo Law Firm. Originally born in Hidalgo Mexico, she immigrated to the United States in 2003 and has resided in Charlotte since then. As an immigrant, Erika empathizes with our clients as she gets to learn their stories firsthand. Erika finds joy in exploring the Carolinas, hiking, and digital art during her spare time.
Jenn Hunter – PARALEGAL
Jenn is a versatile immigration paralegal with a diverse legal background and extensive notarial experience. She earned her Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies _ A.S. (ABA Approved) from Miami-Dade College, Florida, and began her career as a real estate paralegal, where she gained valuable expertise in property law. She later transitioned to family law, assisting clients through complex legal challenges. Currently focused on immigration law, Jenn provides compassionate and knowledgeable support to clients navigating the immigration process.
In addition to her legal work, J holds notary commissions in Maryland, Florida, and North Carolina, and has experience as a signing agent. This background enhances her skills in document preparation and validation, making her an invaluable resource for her clients.
In her leisure time, Jenn enjoys long walks, exploring new places, and creating delicious meals and baked treats for her family and friends.
ROSSMERY PALACIO – PARALEGAL
Rossmery is a bilingual Paralegal at Pardo Law Firm, PLLC. Although originally, she is from Guanajuato, Mexico, she now calls North Carolina home. As an avid learner she pursued a master’s degree in Latin American studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and previously obtained her bachelor’s degree in political science at Wingate University. Working as a legal assistant has only increased her love and desire of helping immigrants with their needs and learning from client’s life stories along the way. In her free time Rossmery enjoys spending time with her family, reading, painting, and listening to music.

MARIA FERNANDA VILLEDA – receptionist
Maria Fernanda Villeda is the Bilingual Receptionist at Pardo Law Firm. She was born in Honduras and immigrated to the United States at the age of 8. Maria grew up in Miami, FL experiencing summer all year round. She visited Charlotte and fell in love with the weather and Nature, decided to make her move to Charlotte, NC in the summer of 2022. During her free time, Maria likes to travel, sightsee, and spend time with friends and family.
ANNABELLE PARDO – FIRM ADMINISTRATOR
Annabelle Pardo is the Firm Administrator and in charge of Human Resources for Pardo Law Firm since 2013. Annabelle brings to the firm over 20 years of experience in management and administration in Retail and Banking industries. Annabelle is a strong advocate for equality rights and serves as a board member for a nonprofit in benefit of LGBTQ youth and their families. Annabelle and her husband enjoy dining and traveling with their 2 children.
